Man charged with Scunthorpe Post Office robbery
A man police wanted in connection with a robbery at a Scunthorpe Post Office has been detained by police.
Eithan Teanby was arrested in Nottingham by Nottinghamshire Police in the early hours of Sunday, June 3, officers revealed this morning.
Teanby, 40, has been taken in to custody at Nottingham Police Station.
He has been charged with committing a robbery at East Common Lane Post Office in Scunthorpe on Monday, May 21, as well as a robbery at a Halifax Bank in Nottinghamshire on Wednesday, May 30.
He is also charged with an attempted robbery at Santander Bank in Nottingham on Tuesday, May 29, as well as two counts of possessing a bladed article.
Teanby had been at large, having failed to return to HMP North Sea Camp in Boston on Monday, May 21 after weekend release.
His last sighting had been at around 4.45pm on Monday, May 21 when he travelled from Scunthorpe to Brigg in a taxi.
