As with each New Year that passes we all hope for a better tomorrow filled with new beginnings and hope of change. This is something i always hold onto, that maybe things will change, justice will be served and some kind of normality will return to my life.
In the last Daily Death Bugle update i spoke about seeking legal advice over my experiences and the injustices against me at the hands of the government organizations. Those that are “supposedly” here to protect and serve, but more often deny the rights of the victim, protect the guilty by allowing them legal representation, which in turns allows the guilty to be freed of charges depending on the legal services they can afford and how they perform on the day so to speak. It is no longer about what is right or wrong.
After weeks of waiting for a reply from the solicitors i had contacted i finally received a letter shortly after Christmas. They denied me representation on the grounds that i had given them grief. Something that i hadn’t intentionally done, I was just trying to explain my experiences and feelings about what has happened to me. Like i have mentioned before today i still carry both the mental and physical scars and feel very strongly about fighting for my rights.
I hope one day that the UK will adopt some of the ideas implemented in the French legal system. Where victims are immediately given legal representation and the
policy of attack the innocent to protect the guilty does not exist. A legal system where the court or a part of the court is actively involved in investigating the facts of the case rather than acting as an impartial referee between two sides, innocent and guilty.
Often I think of all the innocent people who are exposed to wrong doings against them, turning their lives upside down and inside out. In today’s world it is so easy to lose your life to violence and injustice due to a poor out dated legal system and corruption. In my opinion those that represent the guilty party are just as guilty themselves, fighting for injustice and all the wrong that exist in the world and plagues so many.
I believe as the UK has evolved through time and continues to do so, we see government after government fueled by fulfilling the needs of themselves. dividing society and creating a ethos of survival of the rich whilst the poor and working class continue to struggle. As well i think the UK has become more of a paradox as regards to people defending their lives and those of their family. Anybody who is put in this scenario will do so through fear. Charles Darwin (Darwin, founder of evolution) found that for any species to survive they must adapt three “Biological” conditions to survive, and one of these three adaptions is that a species must learn to protect from predators to survive
I will always fight for innocent people who have not yet become the victims in the hope that they will never have to go through similar experiences to those that i have been exposed to. I also hope that speaking out I will be able to stand united with other fighting for change.
